The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and has rustic wooden rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. There are several nearby restaurants within walking distance, making dining convenient. The location is peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of other tourist areas. Good WiFi is available in the common areas.

The staff was first-class. They were helpful in every way possible, including with directions to nearby areas of interest. The Italian owner was a joy to interact with. Also, the grounds were beautiful. Each cabana had a porch with a hammock and were beautifully designed with local products. A nice little pool adorns the center of the compound where a palm-thatched bar serves 20 peso beers and a selection of good wines. They also had bikes for rent right at the hotel and served a great free breakfast of eggs, toast, orange juice and coffee.
Green Tulum is a little outside of Tulum pueblo (about a 10 minute walk). This is the only thing I could see as something that could have been "more perfect".

cool palapa huts
a little less clean than i would have liked. nothing was dirty, and the floor was swept and bathroom cleaned, but there were way too many moths, and i even saw a cockroach when i was in the shower. they didn't replace our towels for the second night, just hung them out to dry on our balcony.

Lovely lush grounds, clean rustic cabanas with mosquito netting, hot/cold water shower, and big balcony. Mexican-run with friendly staff, cheap bike rentals, and flexible check-in/check-out. Upstairs rooms have extra privacy, green views, and good airflow.

My husband and I were looking to save $ on hotels on this vacation, we found Green Tulum on this website and loved the pictures and the price. We got there on a Saturday evening, the receptionist was really helpful, he gave us maps and directions on were to go and how to get to the beach, and even where to eat near by. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave, we felt like home. It was nice, quiet, clean, and we loved waking up to the sounds of nature: birds, insects, and the wild blowing against the trees. The pool is lovely, they told us it is purified water so it wouldn't be harmful to my baby boy if he swallows it. The decor is rustic and they used a lot of local trees, shells and palms, it's so beautiful! At night, the lighting is breathtaking: lamps hanging from the trees, the pool illuminated, and the rooms have jellyfish- looking lamps that dangle on each porch with different colored lights. Plus, I loved how much they care and protect the environment, with their organic shampoos and soaps among other things.
We definitely recommend this place to anyone who won't mind a quick drive to the beach, or the local banda playing at night in the town's park. The internet connection sometimes fails, but it's better that way, more time to relax and enjoy the stay.

Quaint and charming facility, with delightful architectural features. Great lighting, especially at night. The pool area is lovely, with winding paths to all of the rooms. Breakfast was hearty, and the manager did his utmost to accommodate us, despite having never received this reservation from Booked.net.
It was a bit noisy, both from trucks on the main road a block or so away, and from neighbors. The quaint construction is far from soundproof, and louvered windows provide great ventilation but do not close off sound. A generator for a refrigerator was the main sound issue when we were forced to stay in a service room the first night, bit dogs barking is pervasive.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes bike ride from the city center, offering a peaceful escape from the busyness of other tourists. Surrounded by nature and situated near a jungle, guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere. The cabanas are cozy, separated by foliage and ample space, ensuring privacy and tranquility. The staff provides tremendous hospitality and are incredibly kind and helpful.
The kitchen had cleanliness issues, with a lack of kitchenware, which could be seen as a health hazard.

The manager was extremely helpful to help us with transportation arrangements , and organizing our stay with day trips, sightseeing, and any information on how to get around town, etc. very special personal attention.
No bar and restaurant service. We believe this could improve if there were more guests at the hotel.

The staff is very friendly although if you don't speak spanish it would be more difficult to communicate. You can walk to town on the hiway for about 1/2 a mile then on sidewalk. The gardens are really lovely and the pool is pristine kind of noisy but that is mexico. We stayed over 2 weeks and were very comfortable.
Lousy coffee. Too noisy

The grounds were well-maintained and had a relaxing atmosphere. There were lots of birds and other wildlife around. it was easy to get to the main city attractions, which made it a convenient choice for us.
The management didn't run a tight ship. Our room was not properly cleaned, which caused some discomfort.

Fantastic place to stay. I stayed for 9 days and loved it the entire time. The people working there were friendly and helpful. A very relaxing place. It's not one of those luxury hotels, so probably not a good place if you want to feel like you're at a resort. But for a mellow, laid back traveler like me, it was comfortable and a very nice place to relax. A short walk from town and a slightly longer walk to the beach (there are lots of taxis that you can take to the beach as well). Highly recommended and I would definitely go back.

The cabanas look good but smell bad. The people that runs the place wasn't that nice. The booking through Booked.net didn't work and whe nwe arrived we had to pay 27 usd more per night than what Booked.net said. The breakfast was ok. Taken together - overpriced.

Loved the vibes of the place, it was perfect for my city trip. The wooden Cabañas nestled in nature made me feel like I'm in a jungle garden. The staff was superbly friendly and made me feel at home. The location is spot on! it was just a short bike ride from the center. Also, the good WiFi in common area was a nice touch.
The kitchen wasn't what I expected. It was dirty and had limited cookware.

The cabanas were beatiful, the staff was amazing, and friendly the gardens are like heaven, bike rentals were great too. It was hard to leave such a paradise, I cant wait to go back..to see my home again!
They really need to say they are not a mile from the beach, because they are about 4 miles.

The hotel offers a peaceful stay amidst lush greenery and serene natural surroundings. It is conveniently located at a walkable distance from the city center and houses comfortable cabins. The friendly staff provides attentive service and the rooms are thoughtfully put together, making the stay comfortable. The balcony offers a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The hotel's location may not be suitable for solo female travelers who are easily spooked, as it is situated in a darker neighborhood on the outskirts of town.
